Car seat safety was the main focus of Grandparent’s Day at Castleview Hospital on Monday. Southeastern Utah District Health Department joined forces with the hospital to offer car seats to grandparents plus education on proper usage of the safety devices.
Several sessions were conducted during the day offering hour long courses and training to grandparents about safety seats. Health department and hospital staff assisted participants with installation and inspection of car seats.
Kaydence Tidwell and her grandmother enjoyed the training together. Tidwell was excited to ride away in her new car seat which she learned how to properly fasten.
