Help Orangeville celebrate the first day of Christmas on Saturday, December 1st.
Throughout the day there will be a Santa Fun Run/Walk and Four wheeler ride. That event begins at 2:00p.m. and costs $5/person or $15/family. There will be clues along the way to help you solve the Christmas song mystery, and hot cocoa served when you return. Those participating in the Run/Walk should meet at the XTO site. Those participating in В the 4 wheeler ride meet at the city park.
The day continues on with a chili dinner cook-off at the community center. Chili recipes will be accepted from 3:00-3:45p.m. Judging will be at 4:00p.m., and you are asked to bring at least a gallon of chili to provide for the dinner from 5:00-6:30p.m.
The evening concludes with a bon bon fire behind the baseballВ fieldВ at 6:30p.m. and a movie in the old fire station at 8:00p.m.
