The University of Utah Physician Assistant Program would like to congratulate Kim McFarlane, PA-C at the Green River Medical Center as the recipient of the 2014 PA Preceptor of the Year Award.
McFarlane was given this award for his dedication and excellence in educating and mentoring second year Utah physician assistant (PA) students. Community preceptors like McFarlane are integral in educating the future workforce of PAs to increase access to health care, especially in rural and underserved communities.
The University of Utah would like to sincerely express gratitude to McFarlane, the staff at Green River Medical Center, the patients and the community for their involvement in the education of Utah PA students.
