The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Aunt Sharon’s Daycare with a ribbon cutting on Saturday afternoon.
Owned by Sharon Miller, the daycare is operated out of her home, which is located in Helper. The business caters children from infancy to 12 years old.
A large number of activities can be expected from the daycare, including both indoor and outdoor activities, block play and manipulative, field trips and much more. Children who attend Aunt Sharon’s Daycare will also develop learning skills from the activities such as interpersonal relationships, how to follow directions and oral hygiene.
Miller has past experience with children and can be found online at www.careaboutchildcare.utah.gov. A grand total of over 680 child development training hours have been completed by Miller as well as an earned total of eight endorsements and a completed level 10 on the Office of Child Care Career Ladder.
