Charles C. Handley, 58, beloved son, brother and uncle, passed peacefully on September 4, 2019, in the gentle and extraordinary care of Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada, of liver complications.
He was born June 20, 1961, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Samuel C. and Dorothy C. Mower Handley. He grew up in Huntington, Utah, where he loved to fish and explore the beautiful wilderness. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and fast cars. His chosen career was in the Culinary Arts where he worked as a chef. He spent the last 25 years in Nevada where he met and created an adopted family of many dear friends.
Charles is survived by sisters Patty Handley Wilson of Virginia, Leah (George) Bixby Trent of Idaho, and brothers Zane (Betty) Bixby and James (Kari) Mitchell both of Utah and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Don and Marshall Bixby, John D. Springer and sister Lucy Springer Imler.
Graveside Memorial services will be held on September 27, 2019, at the Price City Cemetery at 1 PM.
