Helper City kicked off February by closing down its Main Street and inviting the community to celebrate the Chinese New Year during First Friday.
Keeping with the tradition of celebrating the Chinese New Year, the street was decorated with lanterns, streamers and the like. Businesses and galleries along the street got in the spirit, featuring different musical talents and events. The Kid’s Station teamed up with newly opened business Three Little Llamas to provide youngsters with treats and activities.
A fire pit could be enjoyed outside Clear Creek Adventures, The Boxcar Gallery provided sushi while Tim Riley spoke at Canvas Alchemy, giving an informational presentation on the Chinese New Year.
