Press Release
The Carbon and Emery County Children’s Justice Centers are thrilled to announce the return of Christmas Tree Regalia. This fundraiser was last held in 1997, twenty years ago.
The purpose of Christmas Tree Regalia is to assist with operational costs for the Children’s Justice Centers in Carbon and Emery counties and provide vouchers to students in the Carbon County School District. This will be a family event featuring beautifully decorated trees, entertainment, concessions and holiday booths. It will take place Nov. 28 through Dec. 1 at The Carbon County Special Event Center.
We would like to invite you to participate in this fundraiser by donating a fully lighted and decorated artificial Christmas Tree. We will conduct a silent auction and the trees will be awarded to the highest bidder. The funds will go directly to the Children’s Justice Centers and the Carbon School District. Donating and decorating a Christmas Tree can be done by individuals or it can be a great team building activity for business employees, church members, community groups, or students. You may donate a themed tree, a memory tree or a traditionally decorated tree.
If you are unable to decorate the tree, but want to donate the tree and decorations, there will be a committee available to decorate it for you. This will be our main fundraiser for 2017, so we look forward to your participation in this event. This is a great time to begin planning your tree!
