The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Claws, Paws and More in East Carbon on Tuesday morning. Veterinary technician Gwen Wyman has re-opened doors for those in her community with pets. Wyman has been a resident in East Carbon for the past 12 years and very much enjoys her job, she shared during the ceremony.
She is fortunate to have clientele from both East Carbon and Price. Wyman has been grooming dogs for nearly seven years. However, her shop recently flooded and she took a step back from grooming. During her time away from tending canines, she became a certified nursing assistant but couldn’t stay away from her true passion for long. Now, Wyman has her shop reestablished and is still working on improving to better serve Castle Country pets.
Gwen is also joined by Sadie Wyman, the business’ assistant groomer. The duo offers partial and complete grooming services for dogs as well as nail trimming for both dogs and cats. Prices vary depending on the size of the dog and the services needed.
