Huntington Zions Bank Manager Patrick Fehlberg welcomed students from Cleveland Elementary to sing and light the tree in the bank’s lobby on Friday afternoon.

The handcrafted ornaments on the tree were made by students at Cleveland Elementary. Fehlberg noted that this is a 49-year tradition of Zions Bank. Even though the branch has not been in Huntington for that long, Zions is the oldest community bank in Utah and has been inviting elementary students to participate in this tradition for years.

During the event, a donation was presented to Cleveland Elementary faculty member Diseree Richardson. Then, student Autumn Rasmussen plugged in the cord to light the tree. The students sang “Jingle Bells” and “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” as Santa made his appearance.
