The Cleveland Elementary Mustangs have been hard at work this year and have many accomplishments to show for it. At the end of January, students had collected awards not only in the district’s robotics club, but from the school’s geography bee as well.

The robotics competition took place on Jan. 27. The team that represented Cleveland Elementary, the Flash Bots, finished out the competition with the award for team spirit and unity under their belt.

Earlier that week, the school also hosted its annual geography bee. The winner of the Geography Bee was Tyson Gardner. Second and third place were awarded to Emma Grimm and Ellen Bodily, respectively.

The school looks next to parent teacher conferences that will take place on Feb. 7 and 8 as well as the district spelling bee on Feb. 8.
