The Cleveland Town Council listened to citizen suggestions and discussed firehouse improvement Wednesday.

The Council received many ideas, including an idea from Emily Huntington who thought that Cleveland should put in an ice skating rink to save travel from Castle Country to Provo. Huntington also expressed her belief that it would bring tourists into the area.

Huntington also asked for an addition on sidewalks to make it safer for pedestrians on a road close to her home.

Guymon Fabrication is helping Cleveland rebuild a fire hose drying rack that will extend the life of new fire hoses. The update should help the City keep hoses dry and prevent mildew from building on the inside.

A new road that would enable citizens behind the fire station to have more building plots was also discussed. It will also allow many citizens to greater access to their property.
