A blade sign program was recently launched by the Coal County Strike Team. Many years ago, there was a similar program led by Price City in which some businesses, such as Oliveto Fine Gifts and Furnishings, received grant funding for a sign.
The new blade sign program through the Utah Coal Country Strike Team is for businesses located within the downtown district (per the Price City Land Use Code) of 200 West to 300 East and 100 North to 100 South.
Jade Powell stated that businesses will need to work with professional sign installers as well as submit a quote with the application to the Utah Coal Country Strike Team prior to beginning work on the sign.
Once the application is approved, the business is able to begin the work on their sign and then may be reimbursed up to $1,000. Interested businesses can click here in order to obtain information, program requirements and access the application.
