Members of the community and the Helper City Police joined together for a special event on Wednesday. The event was deemed Coffee with a Cop and was open to the public.
“Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together, over coffee, to discuss issues and learn more about each other,” event organizers shared.
This informal event was hosted at Happiness Within, Helper’s comfortable coffee shop on Main Street. Members of the community and the police force began gathering at 8 a.m. for the two-hour event. There, those in attendance had the chance to discuss concerns within the city as well as thank law enforcement officers for their hard work and dedication.
“Thanks so much to everyone who came out and supported the Coffee with a Cop event yesterday,” staff from Happiness Within shared. “We had a great discussion with great people.”
