A downpour did not stop the community from rallying together at Miner’s Trading Post in East Carbon for its 5th annual Parking Lot Party.
This party, which took place on July 7, began at 3 p.m. Entertainment came in the form of a dunk tank, kids games, face painting, hair stencling, the Moutain Pacific Band and much more. A color daze also took place that evening at 6 p.m.
This annual event is hosted by Miner’s Trading Post to raise funds that will benefit Bruin Point Elementary school through the upcoming school year. Sponsors for the event include, but are not limited to, Sunnyside Co-Gen, Sunnyside Credit Union, Savage and Carbon Medical.
