The first ever Warrior Days event was celebrated in Castle Country last week where many festivities took place that delighted all.
The celebration kicked off on July 4 in conjunction with the annual Energy Days event. Beginning with a patriotic parade in the afternoon, attendees could find entertainment, food and fun throughout the evening before the day was capped off with fireworks.
Subsequent days brought events to honor those in the community who have faced battles throughout their lives, including veterans, those with special needs, first responders and more. A free lunch for veterans, a special needs rodeo and more honored these members of the community.
Big ticket items for the celebration included bull riding on Friday evening and a concert featuring Darryl Worley on Saturday.
