Recently, United Way of Eastern Utah relocated from Price City’s Main Street to a new spot for the organization.
United Way of Eastern Utah has been a staple in the Castle Country community for 38 years and Cheryl Thayn, the organization’s director, expressed the wish for the organization to share the new location with the community that it serves.
This took place in the form of a grand opening, tour and ribbon cutting ceremony that was hosted on Wednesday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Those that were in attendance were treated to hot dogs, popsicles and refreshments while youngsters that tagged along were treated to a bike safety rodeo set up in the parking lot, complete with signs, arrows and pamphlets emphasizing safety while riding. The organization also urged those that came out to the open house to bring a box of diapers or wipes that will be donated to the Southeast Utah Health Department.
United Way of Eastern Utah is now located at 81 North 200 East in Price and may be reached by calling (435) 637-8911.
