To celebrate the many organizations that provide assistance to the community throughout the year, the Tony Basso Group and KUSA sponsored a community Christmas party on Monday evening, Dec. 9. Children who have received assistance from the Children’s Justice Center, Biker’s Against Child Abuse, United Way and Spencer’s Wishes were all invited to the celebration.
The event was made possible in part by proceeds raised at the Nightmare Before Christmas event that took place in October. Over 600 adults and children enjoyed the event that was complete with a chili dinner made by Sam Farlaino. A cookie station was set up and made possible by R&A Market and a hair station was manned by the USU Eastern Cosmetology department. Children also received stockings full of goodies and reindeer food.
The Christmas party was made complete with a visit from Santa.
