There will be a community dinner to benefit Gust and Vale Himonas on April 12.
The dinner will take place from 5 7:30 p.m. at the Carbon School District Offices on 251 West 400 North.
Elias Perez’s band, Los Hermanos de los Andes, will perform as well as several other student groups. Tickets for the spaghetti dinner are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Tickets can be purchased through secretaries at any school in the district or from Nelda Grundy at the district office.
There will also going to be a raffle held in conjunction with the dinner. Raffle tickets are $1 each and can also be purchased at all schools.
Gust was in a skiing accident this winter and is still hospitalized in Colorado. Vale has been a teacher in the school district for many years. The organizers of the event hope to see many in attendance.
