The sixth annual family day at the Museum of the San Rafael on Saturday recognized Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month.
The Museum of the San Rafael directed fossil making, coiled pot making and fossil digging throughout the day. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers, specifically LeAnn Seely, led candle making. The museum also offered bowling for dinosaurs, cave painting and pin-the-tail on the dinosaur.
A $2 hot dog meal was prepared by the museum board on the grill outside. Swire Coca-Cola and BK’s helped sponsor the event.
The board extended appreciation to all who helped to sponsor the event and make it a success.
