Community Enjoys Pancake Dinner Served by Boy Scout Troop 282

Members of the community were treated to a pancake dinner Saturday evening at the United Methodist Church in Price. The dinner was conducted by boy scoot troop 282 as a fundraiser.

According to troop leader Mark Mackiewicz, approximately 260 people were served during this year’s fundraising event.

“This is the only fundraiser we do each year,” Mackiewicz explained. “The money earned goes toward running the troop, buying equipment, assisting families with registration and uniform fees and gas for trips.”

Members of troop 282 pre-sold tickets to the dinner with the top three sellers earning prizes for their effort.

This marks the 25th year of the annual pancake dinner celebration.
