The annual Greek Festival brought crowds to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church over the weekend. The festival attracted hundreds of visitors for the highly-anticipated event.
This year’s festival got an early start as Greek dancers performed at Price City’s Culture Connection on Thursday evening. Following the entertainment, members of the community were invited to take part in the inaugural 5K torch run. The 5K had participants running through the streets of Price, passing a torch along the way.
Friday and Saturday brought the traditional activities of the festival. Lines were long as attendees waited patiently for authentic Greek fare. The Chris Dokos Band provided entertainment on Friday evening while the Greek dancers gave additional performances. Church tours, a pastry shop, a silent auction and more rounded out the event.
