Southeastern Utah Association of Local Government is looking for volunteers to help plant the community garden in Price on Friday, April 7 at 9 a.m. Planting will take place in the high tunnel, which works to extend the planting season.
The community garden provides fresh produce that benefits the food bank as well as citizens that use its services. The garden is also available for the community to use.
The program is a great way to learn about gardening and is perfect for those who wish to learn more about planting without having to have their own garden.
Persons who are interested in volunteering at the community garden can pick up a form at the food bank or contact Genevieve Jewkes at (435) 613-0066.
