Just weeks after flooding devastated Spring Glen Park, members of the community gathered there to celebrate the town and everyone in it.
Spring Glen Days featured a car show, a parade, entertainment and booths for those in attendance to enjoy. Stan and Joan Snow celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary as grand marshals of the parade. The couple has lived in Spring Glen since the 60s.
A history room was also open in the schoolhouse, showcasing Spring Glen throughout history, including before and after photos from the flood that wiped through the park in August.
Organizers of the celebration especially wanted to thank Carbon County for allowing inmates to work in the park following the flood.
