Beginning last week with a Family Pioneer Night Monday evening, community members gathered to celebrate Cleveland Days. With a Dutch oven contest and wagon rides, donations were taken for the yearly fireworks display. Tuesday brought bike rides for riders of all ages and ability. Wednesday, the Cleveland Community Band performed and a family barbecue was accompanied by prize drawings. The evening ended with a family-friendly movie in the park.

Thursday, a three-on-three basketball tournament and a nighttime 5K run took place. Friday’s celebrations kicked off with bike races for all ages followed by a potluck lamb fry. Entertainment for the evening was provided by the Griffin Family and Cleveland Town Royalty.

The festivities continued Saturday morning with breakfast and a flag raising ceremony. A children’s parade allowed children to participate, followed by the Mayor’s parade. A ping pong ball drop and softball tournament provided continued entertainment, leading up to music and dancing, featuring Pro Sound in the evening. The finale of the celebration was the fireworks display in the Cleveland school yard.
