The inaugural Harvest Celebration for the Community Garden in Carbon County is open to all members of the community on Oct. 3.
From 12 to 2:30 p.m., those in attendance can enjoy free food, dutch oven cooking, gardening and canning presentations, kid activities and a raffle. Along with prizes, such as hotel stays, dinner gift certificates and many other gifts, face painting and pumpkin decorating will be available for children. Price City Mayor Joe Piccolo, Representative Brad King, Miss Carbon County, Ron Patterson and Linda Patterson from USU Extension, Sun Center representatives and many others will be present at the celebration.
