In celebration of the fall season, community members gathered together at the third annual Harvest Celebration on Saturday.

“We had another successful year and we estimated around 350 people attended this year’s Harvest Celebration,” said Julie Rosier, the event’s organizer.

A Dutch oven lunch, prepared by Jack Clark and his team, was provided at the celebration as well as racks of ribs prepared by Brenda Deeter in an IFA smoker. The event also featured a fish pond, pumpkin decorating, a cake walk and much more. The celebration, which attracted guests of all ages, was free to those in attendance.

The Harvest Celebration also took time to provide education to community members. Staff from Castleview Hospital was on hand with information on health snacks while the Natural History Museum of Utah spoke about the importance of pollinators.

Organizers of the event would like to give a special thanks to those that helped makes this year’s celebration a success, including the volunteers, local businesses and community members that participated.
