Mitt Romney made a special trip to Price on Wednesday where a meet and greet event was hosted at Washington Park. The politician has hopes of representing the people of Utah in the United States Senate.
Romney was the 2012 Republican nominee for President of the United States. He was also a candidate for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination and served as the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 2003 through 2007. For Utah, he led the 2002 Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympics.
Community members gathered at the park to meet Romney while enjoying family fun and sweet treats.
