At the Price City Council meeting Wednesday evening, Amy Richens and Tina Henrie were sworn in as library board member and community progress committee member, respectively.

Richens will sit as the new library board member. For the past 11 years, she has worked as the librarian at Creekview Elementary. She has experience that she believes she can bring to the Price City Library. She has implemented the importance of reading in her own children and grandchildren, as well as her students at Creekview.

Henrie was sworn in as one of two new members on the Community Progress Committee. Henrie currently works as the marketing manager at the Carbon County Office of Tourism. She explained that she wants to become as involved in the community as possible. Helping people realize the importance of our community is one of her main goals as a member of Community Progress.

Council members welcomed both Richens and Henrie to their positions and are excited to see the efforts and experience they will bring to their positions.
