Past coal camp workers and their families gathered at Helper City Park to reminisce with friends and past co-workers at Canyon Days on Saturday.
Everyone who worked or lived in coals camps including Winter Quarters, Clear Creek, Castle Gate and a variety of other mines were welcome at the 23rd reunion at Canyon Days. The event featured a raffle, lunch and plenty of time to visit.
Tracy Collins commented that for future Caynon Days celebrations, any person from any county in Utah that has worked or lived in a coal camp is welcome at the event. Canyon Days is annually celebrated on the second Saturday in August. Festivities start at 11:30 a.m.
