April’s employee of the month for Carbon County was announced during Wednesday evening’s Carbon County Commission Meeting. The title was awarded to local resident Connie Julian.
Julian has worked with the Carbon County Recreation department at the fairgrounds since December of 2002. Rose Barnes and Frank Ori presented this award to Julian, stating that she had been nominated by a fellow employee. Barnes informed all that Julian interacts closely with the public in many ways and always has a smile on her face.
“Connie is the center of the office,” Ori stated.
Ori continued to praise Julian, stating that the office always needs that one person that keeps everything together and that she is the one. He also informed everyone that Julian makes sure that Ori is always where he needs to be. Ori and the commissioners then quipped that Julian is also a wiz at magic.
