Another copper theft has been reported in the Soldier Creek Mine area of Nine Mile Canyon.
Telecommunication technicians were in the area early Monday morning and notified local officials stating the power was out and equipment had been tampered with. After further investigation, around 30 feet of copper cable was reported missing. Records of a security alarm at the targeted cite show the power went down close to midnight, and police are now looking into who may have been in the area at that time.
