On Friday, students and staff recognized and showed appreciation to Paul and Bernadette Riddle of Superior Striping Inc. and Asphalt Maintenance for their generous donation of playground games at Cottonwood Elementary School in Orangeville.
Paul and Bernadette painted basketball and volleyball courts, two four-square games, hopscotch games and a bean bag target for the students to play on.
The duo also painted a large map of the United States, which the teachers can use as a learning tool. Along with the map, Paul and Bernadette distributed a booklet to the teachers detailing games that can be played using the map.
The students presented Paul and Bernadette with a gift card and thank you sign signed by all of the students.
