The first Carbon County Commission meeting of the 2016 year took place on Wednesday evening. At the meeting, Rose Barnes presented the county employee-of-the-month award.
This month, the award was given to Janice Drolc. Drolc has been an employee at the sheriff’s office for 36 years. Sheriff Jeff Wood also stood and spoke a few positive words about Drolc and her work performance.
“She is very fundamental with my own mental health,” Wood joked.
Drolc was given a plaque at the commission meeting.
