Chad Booth, the executive producer and host of television show County Seat, visited the Emery County Commission meeting to talk about the program. This is the second year the show has won the Telly Award in the “Outstanding Local Production” category.

Booth updated local commissioners on what the television show offers and the cost of airing their commercials in forty states promoting local recreation departments. He urged Carbon and Emery counties to mend fences and work together to spotlight recreational opportunities and encourage outsiders to visit the area.

The television host outlined many programs already covered by the program. Booth also hopes that local politicians will use County Seat in the future to educate citizens on local issues including budgeting, business and road management.

County Seat has been steadily growing in viewership and has agreements with stations in forty states to broadcast the programs. Booth announced that they are moving forward with season four and all past episodes can be viewed at: www.thecountyseat.tv
