At approximately 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, a Carbon County dump truck and trailer driven by a 60 year old male veered off Soldier Creek Road near mile marker 10, just below Soldier Creek Mine.
Right before the corner, the vehicle detoured off the road, flattening several sage brushes in its path, also taking out a few cedar trees. The driver was awake and breathing after the accident with a cut to his head and a laceration to his eye. When authorities arrived at the scene, he was out of the truck walking around.
Landon’s Diesel Service was contacted to tow the truck. Continue to check with ETV News as information is made available.
