COVID-19 Test Numbers Rise, Confirmed Case Numbers Remain Steady in Southeast Utah

As of Monday morning, a report from the Southeast Utah Health Department shows that the confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the district remain steady as the amount of tests continues to rise.

Estimated tests conducted in the Southeastern Utah region have reached 412 as of Monday morning while the amount of confirmed cases remains steady at five. The breakdown of confirmed cases includes two in Carbon County, two in Emery County and one in Grand County. Reportedly, the two cases in Carbon County are those who are not residents of the county but were in the area for work.

Of the five, the Southeast Utah Health Department has reported that two have recovered, including one from Carbon County and the lone patient in Grand County.
