Creekview Elementary played host to its annual United States Constitution bee on Friday morning and invited family, friends and classmates to support the eager competitors.
For the competition, there were 15 students who participated and answered questions about the U.S. Constitution. Each round of questions consisted of more difficult questions than the last. As competitors were whittled down, Athena Fordham was left standing in fifth place. Then, there were three students who tied for second place: Alexa Jones, Maggie Truman and James Tullis. First place was earned by Kenzie Morgan. The Lions Club presented these students with a cash prize for their efforts.
Creekview students and staff extended a special thanks to the Lions Club of Price for helping provide U.S. Constitution books and other materials to prepare these students for the bee.
