Students, faculty, staff, family and friends all gathered together in Creekview Elementary’s gymnasium on Thursday evening to see what the Chiefs have learned throughout their projects in the school’s science fair.
Experiments and displays, such as a number of different “volcanoes,” which gum blows the best bubbles, a diagram of the solar system, a hurricane in a bottle and more stood as proof that the students had been hard at work recently to test their theories and diagram their findings.
While there, attendees also had the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments, such as juice and cookies. As the evening concluded, the winners of the fair were chosen in a myriad of different categories. All that took place in the fair also received a participation award.
Also revealed at the fair was the students “canstruction” project. As the chiefs gathered cans and jars of food to donate, they then arranged said goods into a display. This year’s display was “Land of the Pyramid” and boasted a large number of cans and other foods for donation.
