Creekview Elementary Submission
On a recent Wednesday evening, Creekview Elementary second grade students and their parents gathered in the school field to gaze at the stars. The students have been studying about stars and constellations in their science classes. They presented reports about constellations and shared the Greek myths relating to the stars. They practiced reading star maps and then created their own constellation and story.
As a STEM celebration, the second grade had a well-attended star gazing party to practice their new constellation knowledge. We had 28 kids attend.
