Creekview Elementary Principal John Thomas played a game with students on Thursday afternoon.
A program at Creekview Elementary rewards students for hard work and good deeds. When a student is observed doing well, improving test scores or doing a kind deed for example, the child is awarded a golden ticket.
At the end of each month two names are drawn from each teacher’s class. The names drawn get out of class for 20 minutes to play an active game with Principal Thomas and other classmates.
The program has been successful and Principal Thomas is excited that students can be rewarded and active at the same time.
