On Wednesday morning, Creekview’s fourth and fifth graders put their spelling to the test as they competed in the school’s annual spelling bee.
Over 25 students participated through several intense rounds of spelling, dwindling down the competition through each round until there were two remaining in a spell off for first place.
Ally Bryner finished off the bee with the word “percussion,” placing first in Creekview’s spelling bee. Avy Atwood placed second, followed by Lance Dalley.
All three students will advance to the district spelling bee.
