Crews began work Tuesday morning to tear down the old UDPS-Drivers License/UDOT building on Carbon Avenue in Price.
The building was set to be demolished after a new building was built behind the current structure. The new building houses the Utah Department of Transportation Price District office and the Driver License Division office.
The old building being demolished will clear the site for more parking for the new building. After that project is complete, plans will be made to host an open house for the new building.
