The Southeastern Utah Junior Livestock Show was hosted in Ferron Wednesday through Saturday. 4H and FFA youth in the state, grades 3-12, showed their showmanship skills, market and livestock to the judges.

Family, friends and spectators gathered around the arena as judges watched and critiqued each contestant on their showmanship skills on Thursday followed by the judging of the breeding livestock show.

The judging of the market hogs, lambs, steers and goats took place on Friday in preparation for the stock show buyers’ auction on Saturday.

The crowds were entertained with the pee wee goat show and rabbit show Friday evening and enjoyed an ice cream social and awards program followed by dancing.

Payton Stansfield from Cleveland won grand champion barrow as well as grand champion pig. Stockton Jensen, also from Cleveland, won grand champion bull.

Special thanks go out to the many sponsors of the 76th Annual Southeastern Utah Junior Livestock show.
