Castle Dale First Ward Cub Scouts designed and hosted a spook alley and Halloween fun at the home of Mike and Mary Kava on Oct. 27 and 28.
The scouts and their leader, Donna Thomas, guided attendees through the barn and the yard, even scaring a few as they did. Attendees generously donated over 135 pounds of food, which the Scouts then donated to the Emery County Food Bank.
An additional 10 pounds was donated on Halloween night. Even with the freezing cold temperatures, more than 110 people attended and enjoyed the event.
