Thursday’s Culture Connection was hosted on Helper’s historic Main Street. Utah State University Eastern was the leading sponsor of the event and passed out free t-shirts.  Food was provided for purchase by Big Moe’s Eatery and Bakery.

The entertainment for the evening was the band Los Hermanos de los Andes.  Los Hermanos performed a variety of South American music, including selections from Ecuador and Peru. The audience participated through clapping and dancing, and children were invited to join Los Hermanos onstage to help with percussion.

The Helper Arts Festival continued over the weekend with a wide variety of musicians and performers.  Next Thursday’s Culture Connection will be held at 7 p.m. in the Price Peace Gardens.
