Locals gathered together at the Price City Peace Gardens Thursday to enjoy the six-member band Speed of Sound from Salt Lake City. The group covered many types of music such as pop, country, jazz, 80s rock and more.
Members include Ashley Smith and Johnny K as lead vocalists, Jeff on drums and percussion, Joe on bass guitar, Voltz AKA Lee performing on the keys and Rusty Barnes as lead guitarist. People can find more about the band on its website speedofsoundband.com.
The Tony Basso Group was the headline sponsor for the event. Basso’s provided bottled water with Main Street Grill certificates attached for free ice cream with the purchase of any entree and five dollars off any oil change at Tony Basso GM. Also, they announced free monster truck rides were available Friday morning until two p.m. as a sneak peak to Monster Truck Mania on Friday and Saturday evenings. Big Moe’s offered dinner during the event.
