Mont Harmon Middle School hosted a wrestling tournament on Wednesday before the holiday break. Participants represented middle schools from Helper, Canyon View, San Rafael and Mont Harmon. There were 17 weight classes from 65 to a heavy weight, which exceeded 160 pounds.
The following consists of the winners of their respective weight classes – Kaden Guymon (CVMS, 65), Monty Christiansen (SRMS, 70), Mason Stilson (SRMS, 75), Dominick Madden (HMS, 80), Jerimiah Bensen (HMS, 85), Merritt Meccariello (SRMS, 90), Brax Tapia (HMS, 95), Colten Lowe (MHMS, 100), Bradyn Atwood (CNMS, 105), Issac Robinson (MHMS, 111), Landyn Campbell (HMS, 118), Ashton Guymon (MHMS, 125), Easton Thornley (SRMS, 132), Carter Huntsman (MHMS, 140), Jeremy Birrell (HMS, 150), Daron Garner (HMS, 160) and Hyrum Nelson (MHMS, HWT)
Helper won the tournament followed by Mont Harmon, Canyon View and San Rafael, who scored 152, 140, 105 and 87, respectively.
