DWR Press Release

June 16 last day to apply for an antlerless big game permit

If you’d like to hunt cow elk, cow moose, doe deer or doe pronghorn in Utah this fall, the deadline to apply for a permit is coming up quick.

You can apply at www.wildlife.utah.gov. To be included in permit drawing, your application must be received no later than 11 p.m. on June 16.

Everything you need to apply for a permit is available at www.wildlife.utah.gov/plan-your-antlerless-hunt.html. Judi Tutorow, wildlife licensing coordinator for the DWR, says the web page has several tools to help you apply.

“Detailed maps, boundary descriptions, a list of the hunts you can apply for and a link to the application itself are among the items you’ll find on the page,” she says.

For more information, call the nearest Division of Wildlife Resources office or the DWR’s Salt Lake City office at 801-538-4700.
