A fun twist on a fundraiser brought members of the community to the Emery Town Rec Center for the Deer Hunters Ball on Saturday evening. The event served as a fundraiser for the Emery Town Fire Department.
In addition to fun and camaraderie, those that attended the ball were treated to door prizes and a raffle drawing, which was highlight by two donated quilts.
During the event, Emery Town Fire Chief Childs presented a plaque to Randy Lake for his 47 years of service and support of the Emery Town Fire Department.
“Thank you everyone who came out and had a great time with us at the Deer Hunters Ball,” the Emery Town Fire Department shared following the event. “We appreciate all your support.”
Money raised from the event will directly benefit the Emery Town Fire Department to fund new turnouts for the firefighters.
