Carbon saw its season end Friday with a 7-2 loss against Delta. The 3A Tournament was held at Kearns High School.
Julian Tamllos hit a triple in the game, his fifth on the season. He also picked up the loss on the mound, running his season record to 0-3. Tamllos’ triple left him second in 3A in triples.
The Dinos scored their only runs in the sixth inning. Carbon had six hits in the game.
The Dinos sailed through the first two rounds of the tournament with wins over Stansbury and Park City, but were upended by Spanish Fork (who lost in the semifinals against Juan Diego) and the Rabbits to end their season.
Carbon finished the season with an overall record of 15-10 with a 5-5 clip in Region 12 play.
